Do Good To Them
“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, DO GOOD TO THEM which hate you.” Luke 6:27

True forgiveness is choosing to live with the consequences of someone else's sin without holding it against them.
Even if a person does not deserve your forgiveness, Jesus always deserves your obedience.
The highest goal for a Jesus-follower is to become more like him.
About Us
Our agenda at DGM is to rediscover the love story of Jesus, learning how his forgiveness, restoration, and love is everyone. Jesus said, “love your neighbor” and if your neighbor becomes your enemy, Jesus said “Love your enemy.” DGM is a nonprofit organization committed to sharing the life and love of Jesus. We believe Jesus is human and divine, he rose from the dead, and more. Nevertheless, no matter who you are and what you believe, we’re glad you’re here.
Our Members
DGM has a growing, expert-led staff and dedicated network of partners and supporters. Our movement is not controlled by or affiliated with any single individual, political position, or denomination. There are many different
groups who are troubled by how many people feel excluded from considering the personal relevance of Jesus’ example, life, and mission for their own lives. And so, they’re supporting a movement dedicated to helping foster more and better conversations about Jesus and his love for everyone-even his enemies.

We are not obeying Jesus until we have found some way to do good to them which hate us.
Love Your Enemies
Jesus was the first person in history to put these three words in the same sentence: “Love your enemies.” It’s hard for us today to appreciate just how strange these words would have sounded together. Jesus was boldly calling people to embrace an idea that was completely foreign to their heart and minds: the right response to enemies is to love them. God is loving to everyone—good and bad. God is an Enemy-Lover. So if God is like that, we must embrace God’s heart and actively desire the wellbeing of our enemies.

Pray for Them
When we pray for—not against—someone, we are asking God to be with them, to help them, to heal them.

Do Good to Them
Jesus doesn’t leave us with “thoughts and prayers.” He tells us to get off our butts and actively “do [something] good” for those who hate us.

Bless Them
In the Bible, “blessing” is the word for divine favor. The ultimate prayer in ancient Israel was a prayer for God to “bless” Israel (Numbers 6:24). Blessing is often associated with joy, fruitfulness, abundance, and peace (Deuteronomy 28:1-14). So Jesus is calling on us to desire and declare divine flourishing for our enemies.

Give to Them
Jesus takes another radical step further and says it is not enough to only pray for our enemies, do good to our enemies, and bless our enemies, we should lend to them without expecting to get anything back.
Pray for Them
Our prayer shifts our minds away from bitterness and revenge and toward compassion and care.
Do Good to Them
Doing good requires personal action. It requires our time, energy, subjection, thoughtfulness, and humility, etc.
Bless Them
This takes us from simply praying for them to wanting them to be at their very best and fullest.

FAQ
• What is the agenda of DGM?
Our agenda at DGM is to rediscover the love story of Jesus, learning how his forgiveness, restoration, and love is
everyone. Jesus said “love your neighbor” and if your neighbor becomes your enemy, Jesus said “Love your
enemy.” DGM is a nonprofit organization committed to sharing the life and love of Jesus.
We believe Jesus is human and divine, he rose from the dead, and more. Nevertheless, no matter who you are and
what you believe, we’re glad you’re here.
• Is DGM trying to get people to go to a certain church?
No, DGM loves and supports faithful churches, but we are not a back to church campaign. We are hoping to help
people consider who Jesus truly is and why that matters. At DGM, all teams work together relentlessly to share the
transformative power that unconditional love, forgiveness, and sacrificial generosity have to change us, our families,
our communities, and our country.
• What is DGM’s stance on the LGBT community?
This is among the most common questions we receive. And we understand why. Many of those who represent Jesus
have made people in the LGBT community feel attacked and worthless. So let us be clear in our opinion. Jesus loves
everyone—all souls matter! Everyone is invited to explore the story of Jesus and consider his example of
unconditional love, grace, and forgiveness of others. No matter who you are, YOU are invited to explore the story of
Jesus and consider what it means for your life.
• Does DGM have t-shirts, hats, and merch available?
Yes, we have lots of gear! We want to take advantage of every opportunity to spread love and kindness the way that
Jesus did. All merch is sold directly to that end.
